Greenhouse Technician/Quality Assurance Technician FoxFarm is seeking qualified individuals to run our greenhouse operation and manage our quality assurance program. Greenhouse Technician duties will consist of maintaining greenhouse plant materials and equipment, including: watering, feeding, pruning, propagation, testing, pest management, disease management, operating environmental control equipment, installation and maintenance of special equipment, and assisting in research projects and new product formulation. Quality Assurance Technician duties will consist of maintaining the quality and consistency of all finished products by taking multiple daily samples and checking that pH, EC, specific gravity, and moisture content all meet company standards. Qualified individuals will have an associate degree in Environmental Horticulture or related curriculum, knowledge of greenhouse operations and management, working familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel, and strong communication skills. Working experience in academic research, greenhouse or plant lab a plus.
